Australian premium denim brand Nobody and Ivan Kane’s Hollywood eatery Cafe Wa s are collaborating on a philanthropic project on which they should be applauded heartily.  They designed a signature t-shirt as part of a campaign called Nobody Wa s Thirsty, the proceeds of which will benefit the not-for-profit organization charity:water

Of the world’s population, 1/6th does not have access to clean drinking water. charity:water is dedicated toCharitywater
addressing this issue by funding projects that install and rehabilitate fresh water systems as well as educate communities on how to maintain these systems. As of January 2008, charity:water has built over 400 wells in India, Africa and Bangladesh.

The Nobody Wa s Thirsty tees went on sale last week on the Nobody website and at retailers worldwide that carry the brand. They retail for $60 which is a small price to pay when the revenue from each tee can give 2 people clean water for up to 20 years.

In support of this project, renown international rock photographer Mick Rock shot some of the most recognizable names in music, fashion and pop culture such as NAS, Selita Ebanks and May Anderson wearing the Nobody Wa s Thirsty tees.
