It's so easy to sigh and say, 'another day, another collaboration', but every once in a while one pops up that's so interesting and unexpected we feel guilty for being so jaded. According to DazedDigital.com, Italian car manufacturer, Alfa Romeo has teamed up with Vogue TV presenter Louise Roe and London's emerging fashion darlings Kattis Bjork and Sophie McElligott of Bjork & McElligott. The design duo will create 100 pairs of skinny jeans to coincide with the release of Alfa Romeo's new compact car Alfa MiTo. We're still unclear what Roe brings other than her name. The collaboration will benefit charity Jeans for Genes, an organization which raises funds for children with genetic disorders.
Bjork & McElligott used old denim to create the jeans and added elements of the Alfa Romeo brand such as black leather, red stitching and the serpent logo. You can purchase the jeans at select stores or online at Donna Ida.
