Yes, yes, it's not denim, we know, but logoed underwear peeping out of jeans is so ubiquitous that it deserves space in the denim blogosphere.

Calvin Klein is hosting a male modeling competition called 9 countries, 9 men, 1 Winner in conjunction with the release of their new Calvin Klein Steel product line (above). The new colorways represent the flag of each of the nine countries participating; England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Russia, Spain and Sweden. The aim is to find one man from each of the nine countries that embodies the attributes of the line. The nine finalist will be picked either from an in-store casting at participating stores across Europe or from online submissions to the competition website. The panel of judges will include current Calvin Klein model, Jamie Dornan, execs from Select Model Management, execs from Calvin Klein, GQ Magazine and select members of the media. From the nine finalist, one winner will be chosen by public vote and not only do they receive a coveted one-year modeling contract, but they also get a luxury trip for two to South Africa.

"This is the most amazing opportunity to begin an incredible modeling career. This is [a] chance to see the world, live the dream and meet lots of great people," says Dornan.
