Hudson Jeans is launching a new capsule collection called Resurrection. The collection attempts to call attention to the parallels of fashion and art by "transforming denim into wearable artwork".
Spearheaded by head denim designer, Ben Taverniti, six pairs of vintage jeans were used to create one-of-a-kind, new and experimental designs. Each pair features details like zippers, buttons, distressing and the brand's signature triangle flap pocket, placed in odd but edgy locations.
The collection launches in April at exclusive retailers across the U.S. such as Barney's New York. Only 120 pairs of jeans are available at the wallet-busting price of $995, however, the limited quantities make them collectors items for hardcore denim connoisseurs. For everyone else, they're just nice to look at.
