I'm not a cowgirl. I live in New York City. However, on occasion I have caught the PBA bullriding competition flipping through the channels. It really is quite interesting. Anyhow that just popped into my head as I was writing this and I thought I'd share it. That's all.
To celebrate the launch of Levi's Workwear by Pendleton the brand has once again teamed up with indie mag Vice Magazine to produce a short documentary called "Bares, Broncs and Bulls in the Navajo Nation". The film is in two parts and follows the Navajo cowboys and girls from the Triple B Association, a Native American bronc and bullriding league. Filmmakers followed the best men and women of the league for a week documenting their accomplishments in some of the poorest areas of the nation.
The films are only about nine minutes long and are definitely one of those things that makes me realize there's a whole other world outside of the Republic of New York City. Check it out.
