Okay, I've always been an advocate of kids learning the meaning of humility and the value of hard work as opposed to materialism. Yes, I blog about denim, premium denim at that, but I'm an adult. However, when I see images like this, especially of the cute-as-a-button, round cheeked little girl, I think if I have children those principles will go, fly, soar out of the window. I mean seriously, don't you just want to eat her up in her purple, bedazzled Guess t-shirt and cuffed jeans. This is not your Wal-Mart baby.
Check out the rest of the images of the Guess kids Spring 2011 campaign and see if your principles will hold up. I dare say they won't.
