Fusing couture essence with consistently relevant denim fits, Paco Rabanne creative director Manish Arora and French jeans label Notify have collaborated on a capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2012.
With an eye for rich color, Arora is feeling neon denim this season. This emerging color trend is gaining strength (J Brand and Christopher Kane’s resortwear collaboration overflows with fluorescents), and the Notify Manish Arora collection features solid and ombré treatments in bright psychedelic hues. Drawing from the same source of inspiration as the Manish Arora Paris presentation this past September, this show-stopping denim line features intricate beading, allover prints, metallic and iridescent surfaces, mirrored accents and ornamental embroidery. Arora, who was born in Mumbai, is known for his modern interpretations of traditional Indian motifs, often bringing a sense of exoticism to classic Western silhouettes (in this case, Notify’s perfected denim skinnies).
Available worldwide at high-end department stores and boutiques like Colette, the jeans will retail between €395 and €815.
