Tenue de Nîmes has launched a limited collection of hand-dyed indigo Chuck Taylor All Stars to celebrate its three-year anniversary this November. With deep roots in lifestyle and youth culture, both the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe and this inspirational denim boutique have led somewhat parallel lives. Converse All Stars and a pair of jeans have been staples of youth identity and independence for decades. With the help of legendary denim experts, the Manabe family of Okoyama, Japan, Tenue de Nîmes is offering 50 pairs of high-tops. Because of the irregular composition of natural indigo, the shoes all have a unique signature.
The store decided to create a new version of the indigo-dyed Chuck Taylor All Star after the world turned upside down when the Oxford version was released in July of this year. Get one of the last pairs at www.tenuedenimes.com.
