H&M serves up a surprisingly debonair lookbook for Spring/Summer 2013. While usually taking the more main-stream path for its main collection (and reserving risky fashions for its collaborations), this season we see a sophisticated blend of casual elegance and dressy charm. In a palette of faded shades alongside sharper, fresh tones, suiting separates mix with cotton trousers and ethnic print shorts. I love the active-y elements, such as the raglan sweatshirt and blouson fusing into the collection. I hope these looks make it to the racks; this brand is in need of a fashion overhaul.
