I don’t often shop in Anthropologie. It’s a great store. I always go inside the 5th Avenue location when I walk past it. However, I’m rarely able to find something that fits into my personal style; with the exception of a beautiful maroon dress I bought several years ago which I still love.
While typing up yesterdays #thejetsettingjean post on Brooklyn Artist Erin (see Erin Shows Off Her Wintery Style in DL1961 Slim Boyfriend Jeans #thejetsettingjean), I browsed Anthropologie’s website looking for the blouse she wore. I didn’t find it, but I did find this gem.
Believe it or not, I don’t wear many denim shirts. I only own three. Are you surprised? I purchased a denim patchwork shell from Zara two months ago which I really, really, wanted but it was shipped back to them because I wasn’t home to sign for it. Bummer. But I digress.
This blouse caught my eye for reasons I can’t explain. Sometimes it’s just like that. You just like it just because you do. If I had to be pinned down to an explanation, I’d have to say it’s the combination of the shimmer and the aged appearance. Or maybe it’s the different color sleeves. I don’t know. Anyway.
Of course when you like something the first thing you do is imagine how to wear it. So that’s what I did. Check out the polyvore sets below to see three ways I imagine wearing this blouse.
