Miucca Prada created quite a stir when she sent denim trench coats down the Miu Miu runway at the spring 2013 shows in Paris and then used them again in her subsequent campaign. However, even with celebrities like Rihanna sporting the look, it has yet to go mainstream. Much of that is probably due to how hard they are to find, but with more designers offering their take on the classic shape that is sure to change.

Jumpers and Boilersuits?! Yes More Please! The benefits to this look never seem to end. Not the least of which is it eliminates spending hours in your closet trying to figure out what to wear. There's only one ingredient needed when you add a jumper to a style recipe – shoes. With designers now starting to experiment with shapes, the benefits grow exponentially – as well as the shoe styles you can wear with them. Expect to stock up on a lot of these next spring.

SHAPE SHIFTERS

Shift dresses are a workplace staple. Denim dresses are a wardrobe staple. Put them both together and it truly is the best of both worlds. The easy breezy style is a one-stop-shop outfit for day to play. Like their close relative the jumper, all you need is a pair of killer heels and voila! instant outfit. And just think, all that extra money saved on tops and bottoms can go right into your shoe game. #win

DOUBLY DENIM

I hope you didn't place any bets on the demise of denim on denim because it doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon. Simple street chic looks like those on the Yoehlee runway will probably be the norm next spring, but the in your face indigo geometry of Tommy Hilfiger's version turns the whole trend on it's head. It's going to be interesting to see how far designers take it in seasons to come.
