Like with most Diesel initiatives, the brand has taken this Diesel Island thing to a whole new level. There are even random fans of the brand who get the opportunity to act as Diesel Island presidents for the day on Twitter. I swear, Diesel could write the book on how to create rabid brand loyalty.
The brand has always been supportive of up and coming musicians, so their latest endeavor in regards to Diesel Island is not so far-fetched. They've teamed up with music library eMusic in order to provide the island with an official soundtrack. Well, I guess if it was a real island with a government DJ it wouldn't be far-fetched. Actually, that's the far-fetched thing. Ugh, I'm confused.
Anyway, in the real world you can go to a Diesel store and ask a sales associate for a free download card which will give you access to a 15-track sampler which includes the following artists:
J. Roddy Walston & The Business
Matt & Kim
Ra Ra Riot
The Pains of Being Pure At Heart
Tokyo Police Club
