Diesel's new design team continues to elevate the women's line while maintaining the jeanswear giant's identity of downtown denim looks in gritty washes. Luxe sweater-coats with sophisticated drape and tumbled, cropped bikers work with Diesel's new denim range, especially the super slim Faithlegg and Getlegg skinnies. Taking the colored denim trend from SS12 into autumn, hues of burgundy, gold and deep teal are rich but less bright. I love the murky overdye on the pinstriped denim... great update to railroad and hickory striping.
And in a genius move, the design team has pulled back on logos and visible branding, which is important for labels hoping to keep (or attract) consumers as they age.
