When I got invited to preview American Eagle's Spring/Summer 2014 collection and their lingerie line Aerie, I was stoked because it was the first time I'd been given a preview of the brand. However, I must say that I was also very cautious. Although American Eagle is wildly popular, I didn't have personal experience shopping there. My college days are long behind me and I'd always assumed that that was their target market. Because of this, I didn't want my first-time excitement to cloud my judgement as has happened in the past. I was determined to view it with a critical eye and give an honest assessment of what I felt about the collection. So here goes... I loved it. It was fantastic, exclamation point!

American Eagle definitely has a youthful aesthetic and there was for sure a beachy vibe to the collection, but if you look at the pieces individually, as opposed to collectively, there are some terrific finds. Let's start with
