In the Showrooms: Vivienne Westwood Red Label
Vivienne Westwood Red label was full of fun contrasts with blazing floral abstract prints in outerwear and shorts, to monochromatic jacquard shifts and blazers. The shorts (below) are already in my "Need It, Want It, Have to Have It" list along with a small red shoulder bag (also below). I saw the red bag first. Loved it. Couldn't stop touching it. Then I turned and saw the black canteen bag and it became a toss up for my fave. But only for a moment. The red bag just makes a statement. And it's reasonably priced at $230.
Also available were shoes and jewelry. I can't say they had the same impact on me as the items above. I think they were more tamed than what I expected after seeing the colorful men's collection (watch this space..) and everything else. But that doesn't mean they weren't wearable and sellable.
