Louise et Cie is like the more conservative sister to the main Vince Camuto shoe line which tends to be trend driven. Notice I didn't say it's like the mother. That's because, although Louise et Cie shoes are more refined and mature, there are still details like metal plating on sandals and pops of color that make these shoes more chic than just your basic staples.

Speaking of metal plating, the two-strap sandals (above) were one of my favorite styles. I love how prominent a feature the plating is. It's almost as if the leather is just for cushioning. They are the type of sandals that I would wear through October, frozen toes and all, because they're so fabulous. I was also happy to see different styles of espadrilles. I love espadrilles and I want them to stay popular for as long as they can. Which is probably why I was so bummed over the availability of one particular style.
