Okay, they aren't brannnd new. Koral (pronounced corral), the brand launched by former 7 For All Mankind founder Peter Koral and son David, is actually in it's second season at retail for women and first season for men (Fall 2013 will be the third and second seasons respectively).
For women, there were the usual skinny jeans with enough stretch and attention to detail to ensure a great fit (I haven't tried on a pair yet so don't quote me). Stand out pieces were the ombre studs that seemed to drip down the leg as well as uneven waxed coatings used in several effects. I also liked the denim harem pant. It was made with a cotton blend (silk, I believe). The drape was well done and it felt, dare I say it, luxurious. But what I really want to talk about is mens. Color, color color! It's going to be hard to resist guys. We're starting to see a lot more of it than just a trickle. So, if Koral's collection is any indication, it's going to be the hot item for men this Fall.
Unfortunately, the lighting was wreaking havoc on my iPhone so the photos aren't as clear as I would like, but hopefully you'll get the jist of what I'm saying. Either way, we'll be getting the lookbook shortly, so watch this space.
