The Fashion Institute of Technology held their annual fashion show yesterday and boy has it grown…up. The show, held in the Haft Auditorium consists of clothing sourced from various brands such as Levi's and ISKO and is produced by the FIT Runway 27 club. Usually centered around over-the-top themes, this years theme was Le Cirque. The production of the show allows students to create a large-scale production that consists of sourcing, styling, model scouting, audio/video, public relations and then some.
As attendees filled the seats, performance artists bent and contorted on the stage in costumes reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil. The ambience set the stage for what was a phenomenal show full of creative styling and showmanship.
