Super-cool denim brand G-Star just warmed our hearts. They are teaming up with the United Nation's Millennium Campaign in an attempt to raise awareness about poverty and it's effects during their Spring 2009 show. The Millennium Campaign urges citizens to hold their governments accountable to the promises made at the Millennium Summit in 2000. Leaders from almost every country in the world agreed to work towards the goal to eliminate extreme poverty by 2015. The show will be held during NY Fashion Week at the Park Avenue Armory on September 11th. We hope other influential brands follow in G-Star's footsteps.

I know that it is a bit difficult target to remove the poverty but it is not impossible as their are much more resources and wealth in the world which can help the humanity to overcome the poverty I appreciate the steps which G-Star is taking and other companies should follow it and to achieve the goal.
