It looks like there's a new celebrity favorite in town and it's called Black Orchid. Black Orchid, launched in March 2008 and is the brainchild of designer Julien Jarmoune who, feeling like the market was 
saturated with ostentatious designs, decided to create an elegant "basic" jean that would appeal to women of all ages. The origins behind the name are interesting. The black orchid is considered rare and
highly desirable, thought to have unique powers. Jarmoune likens Black Orchid denim to the flower because it has a rarity and beauty found in something so basic and affordable. The brand already has an A-list following, seen on the likes of Halle Berry, Marcia Cross, Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez. Also, within the first week of its launch, it received orders from Henri Bendel, E Street Denim, Havana Jeans,
National Jean Company and Blue Genes. I expect we'll hear a lot more from this brand.

Black Orchid Denim is blowing up right now! Geez, I am seeing them all over the place. I finally got some and they are really nice. The denim is really soft and thin which is great.
