One of the few designers eschewing trending silhouettes, finishes and styling, Rick Owens went off in an unknown direction. His collection was considered an apology for his acute criticism of the fashion sense of the American tourist although we're trying to see how putting men in angular silhouettes and skirts is an apology for the fanny pack. We're also trying to figure out why anyone would want to apologize for that.
Not much of the denim shown in the presentation would be considered wearable, however, we're always happy to see things done with the fabric that are purely inspirational.
