Denim Trends at the J.Crew Mens Shop

The fashionable set abounded at an event held at the J.Crew Men's Shop in SoHo as most attendees and staff were in their trendiest denim.

For men, cuffs were prominent as the guys took their cue from women's fashion by showing off a little bit of ankle as seen here on Tremaine Romeo, J.Crew Visual Director. The look was jazzed up with euro-hip suspenders or ripped to shreds in the boyfriend's version of the boyfriend jeans.

Pairing a vest with dark denim was seen on both men and women to create a decidedly polished look. J.Crew Personal Shopper, Aire added panache by mixing and matching items from both J.Crew and sister store Madewell. Madewell skinny jeans were folded while unzipped at the ankle to create flair as well as draw attention to a pair of J.Crew satin shoes. A denim vest, part of the Madewell for Shopbop.com collection, was enhanced by a J.Crew goldtone bracelet with oversized loops transformed into a vest chain. Men kept it simple and crisp; channeling their inner American popinjay.

Skinny jeans are still a mainstay for men but stood out when covered in patterns and patches or in tonal shades of gray as seen on J.Crew Manager, Alex.
