Anna Wintour in J Brand Jeans

American Vogue editrix and star of The September Issue, Anna Wintour was spotted waiting in line to catch the afternoon showing of the documentary in a pair of J Brand '910' Skinny jeans in ink. She's probably seen this movie ten times already and it doesn't even open nationwide until September 11th. Anyhow, I digress. Every fashionista in America is probably going to want these jeans now. Elettra Wiedemann is the New Face of G-Star Raw

According to Fashionista.com Elettra Wiedemann, daughter of Isabella Rossellini has been tapped to be the face of G-Star Raw's Fall 2009 ad campaign. The images were shot by Anton Corbijn, director of Joy Division biopic, Control. For those that remember, G-Star's Fall 2009 runway show earlier this year featured Raw Icon Benicio Del Toro reading as poetry an excerpt from Candidate by Joy Division. 

Elettra was chosen to star in the campaign because, apparently, she embodies the essence of the Fall 2009 line which is "a creative fusion of couture-style materials, extreme utilitarian functionality giving rise to a unique hybrid, hardcore luxury". Expect to see her gracing all global print ads from now through December. 

Hudson Jeans Brings You 'The Jegging'

They were seen coming down the runway at the Fall shows earlier this year and have been slowly trickling their way onto the street since. Mostly seen on those early-adopters of fashion, Jeggings, the combination jean + legging, is gearing up to be Fall's hottest denim silhouette. 

British brand, Hudson Jeans, who recently had the industry buzzing with their signing of Georgia May Jagger, daughter of Mick Jagger, for their new ad campaign, is introducing the body-conscious style to their collection. Celebs Love J Brand Jeans

The celebs have been all about J Brand Jeans this Summer and they were working a variety of styes and finishes. Gwen Stefani, Ciara, Halle Berry and Ellen Page preferred the skinny jean in all of it's incarnations while Marisa Tomei and LeAnn Rimes went with cool cutoffs. Not to be left out, Gerard Butler represented the men wearing a pair of jeans from the men's range, J Brand Denim Co. Jennifer Aniston sure looks pleased.

Britain's Hottest Young Stars Come Out for Diesel's Denim Day

Diesel held a 'Denim Day' in the VIP room of their London flagship store on Bond Street in order to introduce the new five-pocket styles for Fall to Britain's hottest young stars. Mammamia star, Dominic Cooper and Tom Hardy of RocknRolla were seen wearing the Diesel Keever fit. Also spotted were Burberry poster boy, Eddie Redmayne, Twilight's, Jamie Campbell Bower and model Jethro Cave son of Nick Cave in the Poiak fit, a grey denim slim fit with zip back pockets and washed grey pocket stripe.

Robert Geller for Levi's

New York by way of Germany Designer, Rober Geller, also a recipient of the 2004 CFDA/Vogue Grant has released images of his capsule collection for Levi's and its creating so much of a buzz that sites from Men.Style.Com to Kanye West's KanyeUniverseCity Blog are covering it. The collection consists of 11 styles from the Levi's vault redone by Geller and feature such items as a dark indigo denim jacket and parka with blanket linings, a denim bib shirt, reworked 1933 501's and a vest with a sherpa lining. The pieces work well together and the varying indigo shades are suitable for denim-on-denim layering. The line is scheduled to launch this Fall and will be available in 12 Bloomingdales locations.

Diesel's Cotton Paper Denim Jean

  

Diesel, ever the innovator, won't just stop at Glow-in-the-Dark jeans. They have recently developed a new jean, and get this, it's made from a combination of denim fabric and (drumroll please)...paper. Wow! The Cotton Paper Denim jean is made of a natural, lightweight, resistant denim that's breathable and strong. The characteristics are achieved by using a warp of 100% organic cotton and a weft made of Japanese paper. The presence of the paper in the denim is key and after several stages of finishing a ripple effect is produced with a stiff, dry hand. The jeans will be available in the Fall in the slightly carrot shaped, Diesel 'Keever' fit. Each individual jean upon purchase will be presented in its own original dust bag.
