Tom Ford and the $990 Jeans

 

Recession. What recession? If you live in the world of Tom Ford than it doesn't exist. And to prove it, the man himself has just launched a line of jeans that will retail for a jaw-dropping $990. The jeans will be made of pre-washed/pre-shrunk Japanese selvage denim that will have the look of raw denim, but without the side-effects such as indigo bleed. In addition, the pockets are lined with the finest silk and the button closure is plated with 18-karat gold. Men will have the option of black or white as well as the traditional indigo color to compliment their wardrobes.
