Denim on the Runway: Paris Menswear: A/W 2010/2011: Bill Tornade

French brand, Bill Tornade, founded by brothers Frances and Jose Ronez, is a company that has never been on my radar. However, flipping through their show, I was surprised to see they included some denim. Actually it shouldn't be that surprising as so many designers and brands nowadays include at least some denim in their shows. Besides, only a whopping four denim pieces went down the runway throughout the entire show and I can personally take or leave the jeans with the reinforced knees. However, I couldn't help but admire what appeared to be a pair of denim slacks. It's a simple item I know, and has been done before, but between the light gray-blue wash and the impeccable tailoring, it's a seamless merge of casual and polished.
