Brand to Watch: Marc Allison Jeans

 

Marc Allison Jeans is a relative newcomer in the world of premium denim. It's a good sign in the denim industry, that despite the Great Recession, new brands are still popping up and enjoying some success. 

The brand was co-founded by Marc Flashberg, a 30 year veteran of the textile industry. As one would expect from an expert in textiles, the focus is on the fabric. The signature feature of the brand is the X-Fit, four way stretch denim made with Supima cotton. 

"We designed the new Marc Allison denim line around this beautiful fabric we helped create and bring to life through the introduction of our jeans," says Flashberg.

The line has already been praised by former Dexter star and now Desperate Housewives' cast member Julie Benz who wore them on a recent episode as well as Dancing With the Stars, Kym Johnson.

There are currently five styles available with prices ranging from $175 to $200.
