GUESS, Inc along with The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) has announced the winner of the GUESS Design Challenge. The GUESS Design Challenge was held on March 13th in conjunction with the Annual FIDM Debut Fashion show. The FiDM Debut Show selects ten gifted students each year to present their first collection. This year, within each of their collections, was a denim-focused GUESS look using washes previously chosen by the GUESS design team.
This year's winner, chosen by Maurice Marciano, Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of GUESS, is student Brittany Vu. As the winner, Brittany was offered and accepted the position of Design Assistant as well as the opportunity to be involved in the step-by-step production of her winning design (below), which will be incorporated into the upcoming season.
