As you know, I love talking about philanthropy. Especially when it comes from the denim industry. Although there are many brands doing great things to support their communities, I sometimes wish I could talk about it more. Fortunately for me, today I get to satisfy my fix.

This past Sunday was the 21st Annual Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation "A Time for Heroes" Celebrity Picnic. The event drew hundreds of celebs and their families to Brentwood's Wadsworth Great Lawn in LA where they enjoyed a live performance by Jesse McCartney and lots of interactive activities.

77kids by American Eagle contributed to the event by providing a denim decorating booth where celebs and their kids bedazzled, painted and customized boys and girls jeans. Among the stars at the booth were Tea Leoni, Jenna Dewan, Denise Richards, Jaime Pressly and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation funds critical research, launches global health programs and is an advocate for children’s health in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The organization gives hope to the children and families living with this global disease.
