Images of the G-Star RAW Gallery at the Shanghai World Expo

 

New face of G-Star Liv Tyler was on hand last month to welcome the G-Star RAW Gallery to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. This year's World Expo is expected to be the largest to date with more than 190 countries represented, 50 international organizations participating and an expected attendance of over 70 million visitors, including 100 world leaders.

The RAW Gallery glass pavilion housed a presentation of the brand's lines such as Raw Essentials, the Liv Tyler inspired Low-T, and the proprietary Arc denim styles. To further emphasize G-Star's signature craftsmanship, special custom-made denim tool jackets were made along with traditional Chinese dresses made out of denim.

The Raw Gallery is an open access pop-up gallery used to showcase product and tell the G-Star brand story. It has appeared at Tokyo Design Week 2008 and 2009 and, after the World Expo, made an appearance at this year's Pitti Immagine Uomo.
