There's nothing the fashion industry loves more than having two former collaborators partner up to recreate the chemistry that made them so successful the first go round.
Guess has recently unveiled a new advertising campaign shot by world renown photographer Ellen von Unwerth whose work shooting supermodel Claudia Schiffer for the Guess campaigns in the '90's was a publicity coup for all three. For the Fall campaign, von Unwerth drew inspiration from those iconic ads by heading back to Tennessee ---the location for the original photoshoot featuring Schiffer. Shot entirely in black & white, the campaign tells the story of three kids in the '50's who go through a transformation as they embark on a road trip through Memphis trying to break into the music scene. On a personal note, I love the Elvis pompadour on Silviu Tolu. Wouldn't it be great if it made a comeback.
