Drowning in My Sleep Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

 

I was recently introduced to a brand called Drowning in My Sleep produced by owner/designer Maxime Cossoguy. The denim brand is in the uber-premium range with prices ranging from $300 for a pair of jeans to upwards of $5000 for couture jeans.

Drowning in My Sleep is not for the faint of heart and has outrageous styles like the "Turkey Pant" (above), the "Couture Jeans" with thick embroidery on the front thigh for women and the "Lace Front" pants for men. There are also some sleeker styles but they take a back seat in this collection.

These are not everyday jeans but are meant to be worn on certain occasions or by a certain type of person. With that said, whomever wears them or however they are worn they are guaranteed to be a conversation piece.
