Denim on the Runway: Bread & Butter: A/W 2011/2012: GUESS

 

Guess previewed their Fall 2011 collection at Bread & Butter with a runway show and we were able to get our hands on some of the images.

Guess is a brand that I've always perceived as being for the young and fabulous and this season's offerings, especially in womenswear, solidified that perception. Whoever styled the show deserves a bravo as I love the way they paired denim shirts with leather skate skirts and faded gray skinny jeans. I also love the high-waisted dark jeans, with the cable knit corset top and thigh high platforms.

Menswear has a mature edge to it and a sexy ruggedness that will work well on cool, young guys as well as stylish gentlemen. I guess I just like everything.
