J Brand Sponsors MAC & Milk During NY Fashion Week.

 

With the loss of LA Fashion Week and their solid commitment to denim on the runway we haven't seen too many major players at the Fashion Weeks other than a chosen few. I'm specifically talking about dedicated denim brands as opposed to brands that incorporate denim into their lines. Maybe things are starting to make a turnaround.

J Brand got in on the Fashion Week action this season by becoming a sponsor at M.A.C & Milk who's venue is starting to rival IMG's larger, more established space. As part of the sponsorship, staffers and celebs were outfitted in the popular brand with men wearing the 'Kane', as seen recently on Gerard Butler and women wearing the '901' legging as seen on Kate Beckinsale.

This was a great idea and a great way to go. After all denim is fashion and we love to see it represented at Fashion Week.
