The Fashion Brewery Talks To Us About Violet Boutique

 

 

A couple of weeks ago I was in DC and my friend Telena Cassell over at TheFashionBrewery.com invited me to visit the grand opening of a boutique called Violet in the trendy Adams Morgan section. Since I was technically visiting a friend, I didn't come with camera in tow ready to report, and because of that, wasn't able to blog about the shop and all the cool things I bought. Yep, I learned a valuable lesson: Always be at the ready. Fortunately, Telena interviewed me, and thanks to her, you can hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

I'm not normally in front of the camera and hate seeing myself in pictures, so all I could think when I watched it was, eww my hair and what the heck am I looking at at the 1:17 mark. But on the bright side, I loved the way that neck accessory I purchased from Violet looked on me. I'm definitely going to make Violet one of my stops when I visit DC, which is often.
