7 For All Mankind "Dresses" Kate & Wills on the Cover of WWD

 

Ever since the wedding, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been on a royal tour/coming out party of the, well, world. On July 8th, the royal couple  are heading to California and in honor of their visit, WWD asked a few designers what they should wear. What a great idea. They have been dressing quite stuffy as of late and what better place to let your hair down a little than sunny California. 

Surprisingly, 7 For All Mankind submitted a sketched suggestion for the two and it made today's cover. You go guys! Seven suggested that "William and Catherine in 7 For All Mankind exude a natural, effortless off-duty California style with premium denim as the foundation." 

I'm loving the idea of Kate in a pair of Seven flares. Sorry Kate, but there is no place where a navy skirt suit is more out of place than California. And can you imagine Prince William in a pair of combat boots for fun? By the way, love how he's hanging on to his sweetie.
