M2F Brand Denims Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Picture 12

"Clay", "Eggplant", "Sierra Green", "Purple Rain" and "Chili Pepper" are some of the color names you will find in M2F Brand Denims' offerings for Fall. The brand's specialty is colored denim, but because color is such a push for most brands this year how is one to stand out?

After a strong showing in their debut season, partially fueled by celebrity fans such as Nicole Richie and Whitney Port, the brand continues creating jeans with interesting hues and complimentary finishes. Where last season, most of the shades evoked traditional spring color in pastel pinks, blues and yellows, Fall brings about darker versions along with new colors not often seen in denim. Along with the hot hues, the scratched surfaces and/or abraded finishes add character and interest.

There are a lot less skinny jeans this season in favor of bootcut styles which is something I have yet to see in other denim brands that are pushing color. So although M2F may not have invented the colored jean, they can certainly say they lead the way with their inventiveness.
