G-Star Originals for women stays true to its premium denim roots, offering new takes on denim colors, washes, bleaching and abrasion treatments. The label's dark indigo jean jacket will remain a standard big-seller, while the stonewashed zip-front V-neck jacket looks super fresh for Spring/Summer 2012. Activewear influences infiltrated fashion runways this season, so the sweatshirt-style pockets and elasticized cuffs are spot-on!

Colored denims range from dark eggplant to hot pink, but what I particularly like is the tonal topstitching… nice departure from one-color dyed looks. The molded 3-D fit of the Arc Tapered jean style is another G-Star signature.
