For Spring/Summer 2012, Kai-aakmann designer Soonjin Park evokes romantic, vaguely retro, desert safari notions. Known to combine precise tailoring and sartorial details with soft drape and versatile structures, Park further strengthens the relationship between exacting sharpness and effortless flow.

Dark blacks and blues provide contrast to the collection’s strong khaki and chambray blue base tones. While light in denim, Kai-aakmann offers adaptable women’s pieces that easily pair with old-favorite skinnies or boyfriend jeans. The denim-sleeved trench and raglan zip-up jacket will look fresh for street looks this spring, while loop neck tees and asymmetric tops will be key for summer.
