For Spring/Summer 2012, Henri-Lloyd Jeans Company combines youth culture with the classic yachting aesthetic for which the British label is known. Drawing from nautical casualwear inspirations, the new collection evolves with a vivid seaside color story, fresh knit and woven textures and on-trend denim washes. A considered approach to 2012’s bright color trend highlights buoy orange, slicker yellow and piscine blues mixing with classic navy.

The label’s premium green selvedge denim is a summer highlight, as is the new oil wash treatment on Japanese denim. Chain-stitched hems and inner seams, contrasting check pocket linings and vintage surface treatments underscore Henri-Lloyd’s attention to quality manufacturing. Dark to light washes with blasting and hand-sanding techniques complement contemporary slim and strait leg fits. Henri-Lloyd completes its trouser selection with carrot leg and cotton oxford chinos, which come in bright pastel shades.
