J Brand launches Ready‐to‐Wear for SS12

"From day one, I wanted to design a collection that was wearable and understandable, yet unexpected, with attention to detail. I love the contrasts of hard with soft, structured with relaxed, leather with silk and soft satins. The pieces feel special and have an ease to them.” Donald Oliver, Design Director, J Brand RTW

Incorporating garment dyes, coated textiles and metal-infused cottons, key pieces of the J Brand RTW Collection include chunky sweaters, trouser-influenced pants and color-warped chambray blouses. College fleece, peached or dry twist cotton shirting and papery twills and gauzes underscore summer ideals. An approachable color palette ranges from muted pinks, creamy neutrals and hints of lilac to dramatic blacks, cool greys and rich indigos. The new collection maintains J Brand's simple, strait-forward aesthetic, while introducing new looks like the cigarette-style trousers in clean twill and super chunky bell-sleeve sweater.
