Marshall Artist, Spring/Summer 12 lookbook

One of my favorites from last month's PROJECT NY show, Marshall Artist offers updated outdoorsy looks for the young, dapper, on-the-go gentleman. I took a gander at their SS12 lookbook this morning... the traditional 1930s golfing blazer is a standout, especially in electric blue and burnt orange corduroy. Quilted corduroy, a key trend on the runways, looks new for the fishing jacket. Both pieces style with Marshall Artist's stovepipe jeans.

Rich colors from bottle green to purple, raw or waxed chambray and navy floral prints reinvigorate classic tradesmen, nautical and mountaineering looks. Rolled shorts, tailored gilets and drop crotch jeans bring urban edge to the collection.
