All-Amercan style at Wrangler Europe SS12

All-American brand Wrangler has injected light summer washes and relaxed casual fits into its SS12 collection for the European market. Just in time for festival season, faded vintage plaids and denims evoke schools-out-for-summer ideas. Wrangler's 70s high-waist flares, which I posted about a few months ago, are fitted until the knee. Rich retro blue is key for this piece and the look is perfected with a matching denim jacket.

For men, denim-on-denim styling remains the theme, with cuffed anti-fit jeans giving a new direction. I particularly love the roomy stonewashed Western shirt tucked into the low-rise, loose-fit khaki jeans. Bagginess is coming back for young men, and it looks right.
