BLACKMEANS frayed denim for SS12

While I love the effort behind and intricacy of the material of these BLACKMEANS jeans, I question the overall design direction (reminds me of the sleeves from a man's flamenco costume).

However, I'd be remiss not to highlight the craftsmanship of the textile. Made from pre-faded cotton, the denim strips are super frayed along the leg. The varying topstitch, bleach and partial paint details draw the eye. Also a metal zip runs along the inside of each leg to the knee, creating a slight flare when open.
