CITIZENS OF HUMANITY, Women Fall/Winter 2012

For Fall 2012, CITIZENS OF HUMANITY brought lavish age-old print concepts and plush materials to casual denim lifestyle. Offering a range of fits from high-waist to low-rise, skinny to flared, the label is sure to have something for everyone. Rich paisley prints and dramatic floor-length denim skirts and dresses evoke "Age of Opulence" notions without diminishing the collection's overall easy hippie feel. I know I'm ranting a bit when it comes to lookbook styling this season, and overall I liked this one, but some of the belt choices are questionable. I would have preferred simpler leather belts without so many instances of Southwestern medallions or interwoven zigzags.
