B.Gold Spring 2013 Lookbook

B. Gold is a fairly new streetwear brand based out of New York City and the line can best be described as a clash of New York City cultures.  The head designer is Brooklyn native Winston Bartholomew Holder III whose day job is as an architect!

Winston, assisted by a two-person team, hand cuts and sews his designs in the Financial District and distributes them via showrooms in Midtown and Soho. These unlikely elements work together well and are evident in the B.Gold collection. For example, structured denim vests display Winston's architectural roots while the bright, playful colors are all Brooklyn. There is also a little bit of New York City downtown culture mixed in as well.

Although only a couple of years old, the brand is generating some buzz and held it's own among larger companies like Gap and Forever 21 during Cotton Incorporated and People Magazine's 24 hour runway show. Flip through the lookbook above and check them out.
