nANA jUDY Womens and Mens Spring 2013 Lookbook

This week seems to be all about the brands with unusual names. No you're not dyslexic. nANA jUDY's moniker is spelled just that way. It wars against my relationship with the shift key, but the Australian import is going to be a hit with the ASOS, Nasty Gal and Lulu's  juniors crowd when it comes to womenswear.

The mens collection focuses largely on denim and for sure takes it's inspiration from womenswear with skin tight jeans, but more importantly...color. Women have wholeheartedly embraced colorful dyes in their jeans and have moved on to prints, as evidenced by the women's collection, but men are usually slow to adopt such things. nANA jUDY dresses their men in mustard, plum and sky blue colored jeans. Some even have a coin pocket on the front. Definitely borrowing heavily from the ladies. However, I'm really digging the idea of men's colored denim and nANA jUDY does this without taking away any masculinity.
