Love it or Loathe It: Gwen Stefani's G-Star Denim Jumper
Gwen Stefani was spotted on at least two occasions wearing G-Star RAW's Glendale denim jumper. If you've ever attended a G-Star RAW fashion show, or any event with a lot of their staff in attendance, you will see at least one person in a jumper. It's a fantastic look and I wish more people would adopt it. For those who are hesitant about this item, thinking it may be a one-trick pony (that clothing item that you can only wear one way), Gwen is the perfect role model on how to create multiple looks in a jumper using items already in your closet.
Recently, she dressed up the jumper in a pair of chain link heeled sandals, a L.A.M.B satchel and a Eugenia Kim fedora. For those of us not so adventurous, pairing them with a pair of simple black heeled sandals like the Manolo Blahnik chaos cuff sandals always seen on Rihanna, and a nice handbag will do the trick.
On another occasion, she wore them with a pair of Puma Sky wedges (my favorite out of all the wedge sneakers), a Louis Vuitton bucket bag and neon green sunnies. Subtract the sunnies and the colorful socks and it's a great not-quite-casual look. If you want to tone it down even more, try a pair of high top Converse and a pair of aviators.
