Aerie for American Eagle, Candy Buttons and Panties as Mood Enhancers
American Eagle's lingerie and loungewear brand Aerie was on hand during the brand's Spring 2014 preview (see My American Eagle Awakening). It was like walking into sunshine looking at the brightly colored swimwear and lingerie. Some of them had fun little details like the bras with studs that looked like candy buttons. OMG! Remember candy buttons?! If you're boyfriend remembers them, I recommend you buy this bra. I guarantee he will have a lot of fun trying to figure out if they're edible or not.
Even though this was a spring and summer preview, bras and panties aren't usually seasonal. At least I don't think they are. I wear mine all year round. After looking at this collection, I'm inspired now to buy the brightest, happiest colors in the collection and wear them underneath my fall clothing. Colors affect mood and knowing I'm wearing such dazzlingly bright color underneath my cheerless fall color is kind of, I don't know, rebellious. Am I a square? Don't answer that.
