Need Easy Breezy Custom Nail Wraps? There's an App for That!
I would like to share a little known fact about myself -I'm an app junkie. I spend more time surfing the app stores on iTunes and Chrome than I do surfing the web. Why? Because it's amazing to see what developers are coming up with and also because I often find gems like Nailsnaps. I stumbled across Nailsnaps yesterday while looking for a new email managerment app (go figure) and it is an anayyyzing idea.
The app allows you to use photos from your camera roll, instagram or facebook and create nail wraps with them. The UI is so simple to use that it doesn't require instruction. You simply use the blank nails as an outline and zoom in or out on your photo as your like. There are other tools as well that allow you to use the same image on all of your nails or create a panorama-like effect over all of your nails. When you're done creating, for $19 Nailsnaps will ship the nail wraps to you. Voila! Easy, breezy, custom nails!
I played around with the app to create a panarama from a picture on Instagram (below) and individual nails using the DenimHunt masthead (above) should I want to do some shameless plugging with my fingernails.
Oh and one more thing, you can save all of your work and share it on the platform. This is so much better than printing an Instagram photo on your sneakers.
