Justin and Gigi Kick Off Controversial Spring 2015 Campaigns

 

The Spring 2015 campaigns are coming and right out the gate, Justin Bieber has already started controversy over his Calvin Klein ads with model Lara Stone. We've all heard the rumors and seen the photoshopped images so there's no need to rehash the gory details. In his defense, once you get labeled as a "bad boy" trouble is bound to find you whether you're looking for it or not. In any case, the ads pay homage to the Marky Mark (aka Mark Wahlberg) and Kate Moss campaign which was popular in the 90's. Considering Marky Mark was a bad boy himself back then, maybe this was all part of the plan.

At any rate it's good for Calvin Klein Jeans who's brand used to be synonymous with controversy over a decade ago. Their jeans haven't been a must-have in quite some time. As much as Bieber may irritate some (or most) of us, you have to admit, when was the last time we've talked this much about Calvin Klein. Beiber aside, Lara Stone (who looks like way too much woman for the Biebs) is modeling the women's line which looks like it may live up to all the hype.

On a more low-key note, Gigi Hadid is heading up Guess' Jeans Spring 2015 campaign. The scion caused quite a stir posing topless for the brand -a move that might have gotten more attention had it not been for that pesky Bieber.

Gigi is a part of this emerging hollywood, model crowd, brat pack that includes Kendell Jenner, Hailey Baldwin and Cara Delevingne. So good choice on Guess' part as this crew, should they manage to not have a falling out, are sure to grow a larger following this year.
